[client com] Names Signatory to Community Agreement

Greg,

 

I am not sure that this has been picked up and dealt with. As I see it, there are two or possibly 3 questions:

 

1.      Is ICANN willing to perform as names community signatory to the Community Agreement (for ICANN)

2.      Are there issues of concern for the CWG that the CWG should be aware of?

3.      What are the alternatives to ICANN as signatory?

Should we ask ICANN legal for its views on ICANN as a potential signatory to the Community Agreement? 

 

I think we should do so, and sooner rather than later.
