Seun, you are correct, each chartering organization used its own internal processes for appointing members to the CWG. In the GNSO, each Stakeholder Group was responsible for identifying one member. Chuck's announcement to the mailing list was the confirmation of the outcome of the Registry Stakeholder Group process. I assume that as the CWG was already underway, the RySG felt it more timely to communicate so directly to the CWG instead of going via the GNSO Secretariat first (but Chuck can correct me if I am wrong).

Okay, my understanding (which is what the ALAC used) is that each community runs their internal process and communicates its selected members to secretariat (in this case staff). Nevertheless, my point precisely is to have some level of introduction/orderliness since we all don't know ourselves on this list.
So i was expecting something in the line of..... "As the chair of RySG i am notifying that ............. is the official member of the working group"

Also, Stephanie Duchesneau will serve as an alternate for Donna if needed.  Stephanie is from North America.

Both of them have been participants in the CWG so they are not new to the list.
