Well as far as i am concerned discussions about the alternate options has
been happening on this list and would be preferred to continue,  whether it
was formerly recognised is another issue all together. I am saying this
because in future i would not be surprised to see someone relate the
message volume on the new list to level of support (not that i am mostly
worried about that, everyone has his opinion)

Well maybe "lack of good intent" is not the appropriate phrase to describe
the sense of segregation that is being created on this list. Its
interesting you havn't noticed that but could easily notice mine, so i
apologise if it felt personal to you.
