 minimum building block for ICANN groups in general, the MRT should not be viewed as just another ICANN cross-community group.&nbsp; While this may be an important principle to the constituencies of the CSG, it should not be applied in a mindless fashion.&nbsp; Speaking
 for myself (at the moment -- I've seen the IPC comment and I currently don't know what the BC and ISPs will say), the MRT is not the place where the CSG should &quot;die in a ditch&quot; to get represented at the Constituency level -- the way we usually want to get
 represented.&nbsp; I would encourage other groups to step back from their maximalist desires as well (acknowledging it sets no precedent for other groups).<o:p></o:p></p>

I largely agree with Christopher. I think we are creating complexity where it does not necessarily need to be, but as we are here I want to reiterate a few comments I made on the RFP 3 call earlier today, and these comments come from a gTLD registry operator
 perspective: <br>

·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Operational stability and reliability of the IANA service is imperative to the business operations of registry operators and as such this should be a critical consideration in any discussions.
