Dear Jonathan and Alissa,<br>

I have a question about process here: how are the ICG and the CWG
treating comments that fall outside a public consultation period?
Are these receiving special treatment and if so, why? I note the CWG
has just opened a public consultation period - should these comment
have gone into the CWG consultation rather than using this seemingly
special track?<br>

According to the process the ICG uses to handle forum

the ICG assesses whether the comments are to be
investigated by the operational community itself, and if
we draw that conclusion we make the OC aware of the
comment and ask whether the OC has any input. So we would
appreciate input you may have no later than August 10.<o:p></o:p></p>
