Also, FYI, based on discussions with several Board members, I do not expect any ECA Public Forum requirements at the upcoming ICANN 63 meeting,

Dear members of the Empowered Community Administration,

Staff notes that you sent previously similar notifications<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/bm/secretarys-notice-06sep17-en.pdf> with respect to the NomCom Selected Nominees to ICANN Board of Directors last September. Unless you have objections, we suggest using the same form for the most recent NomCom notification below.

The notice will therefore read as follows:

“The Empowered Community, pursuant to Section 7.8 of the ICANN Bylaws, and in accordance with a notice received from the Nominating Committee under Section 7.8(c) of the ICANN Bylaws, hereby designates Rafael “Lito” Ibarra to sit on Seat 1 of the ICANN Board for the term beginning at the conclusion of ICANN`s Annual General Meeting in 2018.”

“The Empowered Community, pursuant to Section 7.8 of the ICANN Bylaws, and in accordance with a notice received from the Nominating Committee under Section 7.8(c) of the ICANN Bylaws, hereby designates Lousewies van der Laan to sit on Seat 2 of the ICANN Board for the term beginning at the conclusion of ICANN`s Annual General Meeting in 2018.”

“The Empowered Community, pursuant to Section 7.8 of the ICANN Bylaws, and in accordance with a notice received from the Nominating Committee under Section 7.8(c) of the ICANN Bylaws, hereby designates Tripti Sinha to sit on Seat 3 of the ICANN Board for the term beginning at the conclusion of ICANN`s Annual General Meeting in 2018.”
