Hello all,<br>

please be so kind to find an email from Glenn McKnight, detailing
the NARALO initial work on designing a draft RALO outreach strategic
plan. As we have a task force on ALS engagement in EURALO, do you
think this would be the correct place to start work on next year's
EURALO outreach strategic plan?<br>

It is worth noting that EURALO produced an outreach strategic plan
for FY17. It can be consulted at:

However, due to errors, primarily on my part, we missed the
opportunity to engage CROPP trips to Respublica and to RightsCon -
and therefore ended up using our CROPP slots in EuroDIG. This is
okay too, but we should really plan things better to have deadlines
by which we have a selection process for CROPP to choose who will go
where, including future Respublica and RightsCon and of course other
meetings.<br>

So right now, two questions:<br>
- should it be the remit of the EURALO Task Force on ALS Engagement
to revise the current plan?<br>
- if so, then what changes/improvements should be made to the plan<br>
- if no, then whose task should it be to update this?<br>

<div>In the case of NARALO we are working on our NARALO
Strategic plan, a comparision to the GSE North American Plan
and lastly the FY18 NARALO CROPP PLAN.</div>

<li>Listen to the criticism of our FY 17 plan and alter the
plan for FY 18</li>
<li>Concentrate the trips in accord to larger events ie.
NASIG in PR in March 2018 and the 10 th anniversary of the
NARALO MOU</li>
<li>Leverage the RIR relationship of ARIN and NARALO </li>
</ul>

Given that the CROP wiki has yet to be built out, the
At-Large<br>
Outreach and Engagement SC will use<br>

to draft their Outreach Plans for<br>
FY18.<br>
<br>
RALOs that are considering CROP proposals to begin in July
or August<br>
2017 should consider their outreach plans NOW and seek
approvals from<br>
GSE before the end of CROPP FY17. It is anticipated that the
same<br>
conditions would apply for CROP FY18, namely that ICANN
requires 6<br>
weeks minimum for receiving APPROVED CROP proposals before
the event<br>
takes place. This means for At-Large and GSE to have time to
review<br>
and approve CROP proposals, we should strive to have
proposals<br>
submitted for review at least 7 weeks before such proposed
travel<br>
takes place.<br>
