Dear Community Leaders,

 

 

The ICANN Finance team has decided to extend by a week the deadline for

special budget requests for the regular track window.

The original closing date was this Friday April 19th 2013.

The new deadline for your request will now be FRIDAY APRIL 26TH 2013.

 

 

At the conclusion of the ICANN International Meeting #47 in Beijing, the

ICANN Board has approved the inclusion in ICANN¹s Fiscal Year 2014 budget

an amount for funds relating to 12 requests identified by the Community as

part of the SO/AC Additional Budget Requests Fast-Track Process

(Resolution 2013.04.11.10).

The attached document includes all submitted requests with description,

recommendations, decision and further explanation.

 

The decision categories are as follows:

€             Yes             =>    Approved as is

 

€             Partial   =>    Approved but with restrictions and changes to

the funding level

please read carefully as your implementation plan will likely be impacted

 

€             Deferred =>    Evaluation postponed to the regular track

review period

your budget request is already under review for the regular track and no

need to re-submit

 

€             No        =>    No funding granted for the request. No additional

funding will be granted for these requests. If the activity is already be

covered by the ICANN general budget then it will be indicated in the

recommendation and explanation sections.
