[Gnso-dmpm-wg] DMPM - WG Chair

WG Members,

 

As you may have seen yesterday, Mikey stepped down as Chair of our WG and we
are now in search of someone to take on the Chair role.  This issue was
discussed on today's call, but the WG felt it best to resolve this via the
mailing list to ensure all members are included in this decision.
Fortunately, we have a line-up of vice-chairs to make this decision easier,
but given the newness of the WG it was decided a call for additional
volunteers would be best.  Therefore, if anyone on the list wishes be
considered for the Chair position, please notify your intent on this mailing
list.

 

During the call today, Jonathan Zuck mentioned his interest in taking on the
Chair role.  If WG members are support Jonathan or have any objection,
please state so.  If the WG were to select Jonathan, we could perhaps use an
additional vice-chair.  As such, if you might be interested in the
Vice-Chair role, please notify the list of your interest.

 

As with the last time we selected Chairs for the WG, one key requirement is
that the member have a considerable amount of experience with Working Groups
(both PDP and non-PDP) and be available for all meetings in addition to
making time available for off-meeting planning and activities as required.

 

Thank you for your attention to this matter.  We're hopeful we can have this
resolved prior to our meeting next week on 15 Apr 2014 @ 20:00 UTC.
