<pre style="background:white"><i><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The EPDP Team considered whether a Purpose for Processing Registration Data should be added to address the needs and benefits provided by DNS security and stability research intending to publish reports on threats to the operational stability, reliability, security, global interoperability, resilience, and openness of the DNS (see <a href="https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/gnso-epdp-team/2018-November/000897.html">https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/gnso-epdp-team/2018-November/000897.html</a>). The EPDP Team is considering this question to enable ICANN to continue publishing reports in relation to the Accuracy Reporting System as well as the use of data by ICANN’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). Community and ICANN Org input is sought on whether the other purposes listed below already enable this work, whether an additional research purpose should be added, or if such a purpose in not necessary in any case.<span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></span></i></pre>
