Subject: [Gnso-newgtld-wg-wt5] Welcome to Work Track 5

Dear Work Track 5 members,

Thank you for signing up to participate in New gTLD Subsequent Procedures PDP Working Group’s Work Track 5, which will focus on geographic names at the top level.

Our first call is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 15 November at 20:00 UTC. If you are signed up as a Work Track member, you should have received an invitation for this meeting with the call details. If you did not receive an invitation, please email <mailto:gnso-secs at icann.org> gnso-secs at icann.org.

The following is the proposed Agenda:

1.	Welcome
2.	WG/WT5 members’ Statements of Interest (SOI)
3.	WT5 Rules of Engagement (WGT5 will operate under the principles of transparency and openness i.e., mailing lists are publicly archived, meetings are recorded / transcribed)
4.	Review Terms of Reference and input from ICANN60 (problem statement, objectives, goals, deliverables and documents relevant for the WGT5’s discussion)
5.	Proposed Timeline
6.	Development of a work plan schedule for future meetings of the WT5 (frequency of calls and date/time of next call)
7.	AOB

If you were unable to join the WT5 session in Abu Dhabi, recordings and transcripts are available <http://sched.co/CbGp> here.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the working processes and communication tools used to support ICANN working groups, please take the opportunity to join a Communication Tools Classroom session. There are two options. The content will be identical:

*	Today, 14 November at 21:00 UTC
*	Tuesday, 21 November at 10:00 UTC

If you did not receive an invitation and would like to attend, please email <mailto:gnso-secs at icann.org> gnso-secs at icann.org. If you are unable to attend, recordings of the sessions will be available. We have a large number of members and observers signed up for this group. By ensuring that everyone is comfortable with the tools we use, we can help to support effective progress of our work.

We look forward to seeing you all on the call tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Olga Cavalli (GAC)

Annebeth Lange (ccNSO)

Martin Sutton (GNSO)

Christopher Wilkinson (ALAC)
