Dear GAC Leadership


We are in receipt of your letter dated 14 December 2020 regarding a request for extension to the Consensus Call for New gTLDs Subsequent Procedures PDP Working Group Final Report. 

 

Although the “Final Report” will be delivered to the PDP Working Group Membership on 22 December 2020, the Working Group has had access to the report (and their redlines) for many weeks.  The amount of changes to the drafts at this point are relatively small and minor in substance.  Therefore, in reality, Working Group members have been able to review for several weeks. 

 

We understand this deadline is tight for Working Group members and we completely appreciate the work and support we have received from the GAC and its members to date.  We are currently working with GNSO Council Leadership as to what changes, if any, can be made to parts of the end of the process.  As soon as we have more information, we will provide it to you.

 

Thanks again to the GAC Leadership team, and all of the participants from the GAC in the Working Group, to help us get this far.  We are nearing the finish line and look forward to closing this out.
