Thanks, Gema, much appreciated. Please note that the question about freedom
of speech was inadvertently left out of the online survey questions. I've
added it now to the online survey and when we'll gather all the responses
I'll add your response for this question as you noted in the Word document.

In relation to the EWG questionnaire, it is indeed the one you partially
answered. The objective is for WG members to identify whether there are any
questions that should be added / edited to contribute to the WG
deliberations on the charter questions.

May you all have a wonderful year 2014!

I have taken some time to look at the questionnaire on the WG´s charter. I
have already replied to it. I´ve left unanswered some questions, that either
I didn´t understand or that I guess are not very relevant from a public
policy point of view.

I have reviewed the proposed grouping of charter questions and I agree with
it. I noted some little variations with respect to the above WG´s charter
questions. Specifically, I have spotted a new question about freedom of
speech which I have allowed myself to answer tentatively. This is complex
issue that merits more reflection on my part.

I have also gone through the draft consultation letters. I have added some
comments to the one addressed to SO and AC, with the GAC in mind.

I haven´t found any questionnaire under
http://mm.icann.org/pipermail/gnso-ppsai-pdp-wg/2013-December/000073.html.
Could that be the one I partially answered (also attached)?

This note is a reminder that we have a few items pending leading up to our
next call on January 7.

To inform and move our work forward, please:

1. Complete this survey so that we can get a preliminary idea of members¹
views concerning the WG¹s charter questions.

2. Take a look at the proposed grouping of charter questions, which should
help us organize our work. The charter gives us some latitude to adjust
wording and add items, and you will see some of that in the draft. In
addition, don¹t hesitate to note any ³what does that mean² items.

3. Review and circulate comments that you might have on proposed outreach
letters to GNSO SG/C and ICANN SO/ACs, which are attached.

In addition, the Whois EWG is examining privacy and proxy issues. Please
take some time to look at a draft of their proposed questionnaire and submit
your thoughts.
