"from registration to deletion" is a bit too narrow. We may also want to
consider the pre-registration phase (such as waiting lists, new gTLD
holding periods for specific registrants, and so on). Also, after
deletion some information may be needed for archival or historical
purposes (I believe when I was at ARIN we created an internal tool
called WHOWAS for this kind of thing, but that was almost 20 years ago
so my memory may be even more flawed than usual).

But basically that's it. :)
