Well, I think that the SSAC answered this some time ago, by inventing
the notion of the RDDS.  By extension we somehow got the RDS, which is
what this WG is supposed to be talking about.  But we won't be helped
in that effort if we keep mentally substituting "whois" for either
RDDS or RDS.
