[gnso-rds-pdp-wg] RDS PDP WG Vice Chair resignation

I want to publicly express my sincere appreciation for Susan’s service over the past two years.  She has been an extremely valuable member of the leadership team and will leave a big gap in the leadership team and the WG.  

 

When I accepted the invitation to chair the WG, I requested that there be one vice chair each from the Registrars SG, Non-commercial SG and Commercial SG so that there would be representation on the leadership team from all SGs, assuming that I could fill that role for the Registries SG.  With Susan’s resignation I strongly encourage the Commercial SG to identify someone who can replace Susan on the leadership team, so we still have representation from commercial stakeholders.  Also, because I am no longer a participant in the Registries SG, I would welcome someone from the RySG to join our leadership team.  I request that WG members from the Commercial SG and the Registries SG do what you can to encourage your SGs to identify a person to join the leadership team.  Ideally it would be helpful if the ones identified are already WG members, but it that is not possible, we will do whatever is necessary to bring a new member up to speed.

Hello All, 

 

After two years on the RDS PDP as Vice Chair from the Commercial Stakeholder Group.  I have decided to move on and focus on other commitments I have in the ICANN Community. 

 

I have very much enjoyed working with Chuck, Michele and David on the leadership team and ICANN staff, especially Marika and Lisa.  They all made the experience very rewarding. 

We worked well as a cohesive team on such a hard and divisive topic. 

 

I will still remain a member of the working group so will see you on the calls.
