I for one have been working very hard to help NPOC make its way in the NCSG and find the fact that this is what you picked to include so very unfortunate. Now instead of dealing with the substance of the report the NCUC is going to have to deal with arguing against the lies. It also seems that you went against your rule of not including quotes where the speaker could be identified. While it may be hard to pin the specific speaker, the choice of one of two possible speakers is relatively easy. What you have done is take a sometimes difficult situation that has been improving over the years, entered it as patisans and made it so much worse. Now a competition of who can mud sling best is going to be much harder to contain. It is sad that you have made the work of consensus building so much harder. avri -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I assumed I knew the short list who uttered those statements. I can't know and there is every chance that I am wrong. I am glad I did not name names, but I must say, the problem remains with the quotes and the fact that many have already had the same assumption about the speakers I had. Apologies for the intemperance on that one point. I do request that the incendiary quotes be removed from the report. avri On 12-Feb-15 07:35, Avri Doria wrote: > Hi, > > Personally I find it unfortuante that your draft report put out > calumnious quotes that have no basic in fact. I am looking forward to our next meeting on Tuesday, March 3rd. You should have received an updated calendar invite. In preparation for the meeting, I'd like to encourage you track your comments about the report in one of three categories to help us organize and guide our discussion: 1. Factual Inaccuracies. Anything you believe is factually inaccurate can be reported back to Westlake. 2. Concerns about any quotes or information cited in the report which could be accurate, but may create problems or raises concerns in the community. 3. Concerns about conclusions reached that you would like to bring to Westlake's attention. We will plan to go through each section of the report asking for comments in these three categories. You will still have time after this call to provide additional comments on the Wiki or to send to me or staff and we will compile all feedback in writing for the Westlake team. Our goal in this call is to ensure that we capture all comments regarding the report so that we can aggregate feedback in an organized and meaningful way. Westlake will be on the call and available to answer questions or provide clarification. If we think an additional call is needed, we can schedule further time by phone to discuss the report and feedback. I appreciate your time and input into this process and look forward to our call on Tuesday. In the meantime, if you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to reply to the list or post on the Wiki. With kindest regards, Jen jennifer c.
