[GNSO-RPM-WG] RPM PDP WG Trademark Claims Sub Team Status Report 12 April 2019

Dear members of the RPM PDP WG,

On behalf of Martin Silva and Roger Carney, Co-Chairs of the TM Claims Sub Team, please see below the weekly progress report to the full RPM PDP WG.  Martin acted as chair during the meeting<https://community.icann.org/display/RARPMRIAGPWG/2019-04-10+Sub+team+for+Trademark+Claims+Data+Review> on Wednesday, 10 April.

Current Status:
The Sub Team continued discussion of preliminary recommendations with respect to the Trademark Claims Charter questions.  See the Charter questions and the summary table on the wiki at: https://community.icann.org/display/RARPMRIAGPWG/Documents%2C+drafts%2C+responses+RPM+WG+Sub+Team+for+Trademark+Claims+Data+Review.

At the meeting on 10 April the Sub Team discussed tentative preliminary recommendations with respect to question 2, and related individual proposals #1 and #12.  See individual proposals at: https://community.icann.org/x/R6EWBg.  In addition, per the action item from the 03 April meeting, staff provided draft language for preliminary recommendations for which proposals have been discussed.  This draft language will be circulated to the sub team for review.

Next Steps:
Per the revised timeline in the Proposed Process for TMCH Sunrise & Trademark Claims Sub Teams, the goal is for the Sub Team to complete the development of preliminary recommendations based on all data reviewed to date and the review of individual proposals by 15 May.
