Dear members of the RPM PDP WG,

On behalf of Martin Silva and Roger Carney, Co-Chairs of the TM Claims Sub Team, please see below the weekly progress report to the full RPM PDP WG.  Martin acted as chair during the meeting<https://community.icann.org/display/RARPMRIAGPWG/2019-05-08+Sub+team+for+Trademark+Claims+Data+Review> on Wednesday, 08 May.

Overview:

  *   By ICANN65, the Sub Team aims to complete discussing a total of five (5) Agreed TM Claims Charter Questions and reviewing a total of five (5) Individual Proposals.
  *   To date, the Sub Team has discussed four (4) Agreed TM Charter questions and reviewed four (4) Individual Proposals. Discussions took place during meetings and via discussion threads on the mailing list. One (1) Agreed TM Claims Charter Question and one (1) Individual Proposal remain to be discussed.
  *   Based on current progress, the Sub Team is projected to complete its work by not later than mid-June, with a goal to finish earlier. The Sub Team’s task is to develop proposed answers and preliminary recommendations with regard to the Agreed TM Claims Charter Questions, as well as review individual proposals and determine the level of support for inclusion in the Initial Report.

08 May Meeting: The Sub Team discussed proposed answers and preliminary recommendations with respect to Agreed TM Claims Charter Question 4.

15 May Meeting: The Sub Team will begin discussion of Agreed TM Claims Charter Question 5, and (if time permits) review Individual Proposal #11.

Discussion Threads: They have been opened, until 15 May, for final mailing list discussions related to the following Agreed TM Claims Charter Questions, including relevant Individual Proposals:

  *   Q1 (including Proposals #5 & #6)
  *   Q2 (including Proposals #1 & #12)
  *   Q3
  *   Q4
