Ayden et al,
Atlas III is not currently in the FY19 Draft budget. It is included in the year FY20 of the 5-year Operating Plan.
Thank you.
Best,
Xavier

Subject: [Gnso-sc-budget] Has ATLAS III been placed on hold?
Hi, all-
I do not see the At-Large Summit ('ATLAS III'), which I thought was taking place in conjunction with ICANN 64 in Kobe, mentioned in the FY19 Budget. I understand from a presentation in Abu Dhabi that this was to have between 225 and 250 (!) supported travellers. Am I correct in understanding that this activity is no longer budgeted for FY19?
I mention this only because I am concerned about the fair allocation of resources across the community, and if ATLAS III was going ahead with 225 to 250 travel slots in a year where the GNSO NCPH constituencies are not projected to receive five CROP slots, it would seem unfair to me. Of course, if ATLAS III has been postponed or cancelled, there is nothing here that need be raised... I hope someone might be able to confirm my assumption here. Thank you!
Best wishes,
Ayden Férdeline
