I’ve made a few comments on the draft document.
* CROPP includes the term “pilot” in its title. Questioning its removal and how that was handled might be justified, but I don’t see how it can be considered “core” if it was a pilot, which by its very nature was not guaranteed to continue.
* Reducing the additional budget requests – similar issue. They’re additional, which means they aren’t “core”.
* The GDD Summit isn’t a CPH intersessional, even though it might be perceived by some as being that. Also the level of support in terms of travel support etc., is minimal. The RrSG requested travel support for a couple of our members for the upcoming one this year, but obviously don’t know if we will get any funding.
* The bit about language services – I’m not sure if “documented” is what we’re aiming for.
* Registrant protection – I’m not sure where that entire paragraph came from. ICANN can easily argue that they’ve put in place several things to cover this and that education is part of the GSE’s remit. As a registrar I cannot support the statement: “After all, it is the registrants, in purchasing domain names, who keep ICANN in business.” I suspect the registries wouldn’t agree with that either
Regards
Michele

Hi, all-
Thanks so much for joining today's call. It was great to have such a large turn out.
Just a reminder that we'll be submitting a working draft of our comment on the FY19 Budget to the GNSO Council shortly. There is still time to review the product; Berry has kindly uploaded our comment into Google Docs and the link is below.
Please take a look over it and, if it isn't too late in your time zone, please feel free to make some last-minute edits to it. Thank you!
Ayden

Hi All,
Here is the link to the draft of GNSO Council comments. It would be preferred if edits are made in Suggesting mode as that makes for better track changes.
