As discussed in Barcelona and a prior email from Ayden, the draft FY20 IANA/PTI budget is open for public comment and closes 12 November 2018.

Attached you will find a beginning draft for FY20 and the final version of the FY19 comments submitted last year.  Similarly, the SCBO will prepare a draft of comments for review by the GNSO Council on the mailing list as the public comment closes prior to the next GNSO Council meeting on 29 Nov.



We’ve scheduled an SCBO call for 05 November at 13:00 UTC to review and discuss the draft budget documents.  We should probably have the draft agreed to and sent to the GNSO Council by 07 November 2018 to allow them plenty of time for deliberations on the mailing list.



FY20 as compared to FY19 is mostly similar with only a few adjustments in travel and professional services.  There are two primary documents to review:

·         FY20 Draft IANA Operating Plan and Budget<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/draft-iana-op-budget-fy20-28sep18-en.pdf>

o   Pages 5 & 6 provide an overview of the changes from FY19

·         Draft PTI FY20 Operating Plan and Budget<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/draft-pti-op-budget-fy20-28sep18-en.pdf>

o   Pages 7 & 8 provide an overview of the changes from FY19
