[Gnso-sc-budget] Next SCBO Meeting + Proposed Timeline for ICANN Org FY20 Budget Comment

Dear all,

We will circulate a Doodle poll shortly to determine the time for our calls over the next year.

Depending on the times chosen (and our composition as new Councillors and Subject Matter Experts join us) we may decide to do a rotation of calls between two time zones.

On our last call we mentioned scheduling our next call the week of 10 December.

As the Finance department’s timeline indicates the budget documents will be published on 10 December, I would like to propose that we instead meet one week later.

This will allow us more time to read and digest the FY20 ICANN Org budget documents once they are available.

Tentatively I would like to suggest we have three meetings to work on our comment on the Budget:

Monday, 17 December - initial review of budget documents, flag questions for Finance team
Monday, 7 January - review responses from Finance, discuss substance of our comment
Monday, 14 January - final wordsmithing of our comment

On Monday, 21 January we can then forward our proposed comment to the GNSO Council for its review. Depending on feedback received we may need to schedule an additional call for the week of 28 January to work to resolve any questions or suggested edits.

The public comment period closes on 1 February 2019 per this document ([page 17](https://community.icann.org/display/projfinadhocws/FY20+Budget+Planning+Process?preview=/90767990/90770706/FY20_Planning_ProcessTimeline_Webinar.pdf)).
