[Gnso-sc-budget] Draft Community Travel Support Guidelines - Staff Report

Dear all,

You might remember that back in May of this year, the community was given the opportunity to comment on the Community Travel Support Guidelines. The SCBO did not submit a comment on this issue (nor did the GNSO Council), but many GNSO SGs/Cs did and it is possible, depending on what results from this process, that there could be implications for the GNSO that we may wish to be aware of.

The comment window closed after 47 days. 60 days have now passed, and no staff report summarising the comments has yet been published. According to [this page](https://www.icann.org/public-comments/travel-support-guidelines-2018-05-30-en) a staff report will be published on 19 October, which would be 95 days after the public comment window closed (or roughly twice as long as the community was given to comment in the first place).

I will share the staff report on our list once it is circulated so we can assess any potential implications for the GNSO which we may or may not wish to take forward in our comment on the FY20 budget (should the SCBO still be chartered).

Best wishes,

Ayden Férdeline
