Please accept my belated apologies for this call.  It appears to have been a very interesting discussion, and I am glad we have another one coming up soon.  Had I been on the call I would have expressed enthusiastic support for most of what Marilyn was saying, including the need to address the failure of the fellowship program to attract potential BC members.  Regarding the Non-contracted party house intercessional....I regret the decision to cancel it for this year, as in my view some of the PDP processes at ICANN are in peril and we need to figure out how to address this structural failure, prior to the GNSO review. I certainly hope that the 2020 intercessional is not cancelled, and would suggest that a one time budget cut does should not become a perpetual budget cut.

I noted Berry's third point in the chat: "a lesson learned from last year is that precision is most useful to incite changes from draft to adopted budget."  I think this is extremely important for us to bear in mind....means a lot of work and followup for our comments, checking which recommendations were followed and which not, developing precise recommendations with rationale....so it is important to get going on comments as soon as a decision is made regarding the pen holder.
