Ayden,
For clarity, the action that led to temporarily stop publishing the reports was triggered by a GDPR compliance evaluation process, and the reinstatement of the publication was triggered by the conclusion of this evaluation that indicated no GDPR compliance issue.
The feedback that this group provided on stopping the publication simply mirrored the frustration of those in ICANN org involved with such publication, who were working hard to complete the evaluation and restore the possibility to publish.
Thank you.
Best,
Xavier

Thanks Xavier, this really is a very encouraging development and it is great to see ICANN demonstrate how it can respond to community requests so that we can hold ourselves more accountable. Already, on the basis of this new information, I have been able to flag internally within my stakeholder group one very high visa expense for further scrutiny...

Ayden,
Thank you for following up on this matter and sharing the update with this group.
We were very keen on getting this matter through as it felt like a big “step back” to not be able anymore to publish the travel report and we were all frustrated with the perspective of moving backwards.
The reinstatement was the result of collaborative work of ICANN Legal, Finance and Constituent Travel.
Good example of stakeholders holding ICANN accountable, and ICANN demonstrating its accountability, in this case through continued transparency.
Thank you.
Best,
Xavier

Dear all,
I have noticed that this announcement<https://community.icann.org/display/trvlconstit/Travel+Report> has appeared on the Constituency Travel webpage:
6/23/2019
Notice: Due to the implementation of GDPR compliance procedures, ICANN Travel had suspended the publication of travel reports while a compliance assessment was carried out. After completing the assessment, ICANN Travel is happy to announce that the publication of travel reports, a fundamental mechanism of ICANN’s financial accountability that had been in place for several years, will resume with full disclosure of detailed travel expense information.
I am very pleased to read this, and grateful that ICANN org has taken our past feedback on this matter into consideration. It is great to see that the travel reports are now being published again in a complete manner, and that the past redacted reports have been replaced with complete ones.
