Dear SCBO Team,

Thanks to Raphael who has added some comments.  I have taken the initiative and drafted an outline and some general comments: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0ANDIuVypFmHNUk9PVA

It would be great if a councilor with some experience working on PDP 3.0 would add a few sentences to Sections 1 and 2 of the Comment Discussing the goals to “Evolve and Strengthen the Multistakeholder Model to Facilitate Diverse and Inclusive Participation in Policymaking” and “Evolve and Strengthen the ICANN Community’s Decision-making Processes to Ensure Efficient and Effective Policymaking.”

Also, if anyone has interest or involvement in Appendix C: Evolving ICANN’s Multistakeholder Model Work Plan, then your input would be valuable to the same section.

If an SCBO member has project management experience, we could use your input on Section entitled “Planning at ICANN.”

Lastly, I am looking for a few people to take a look at:

1.    Policy Development and Advice - (pp. 243-246)
2.    Policy Research - (pp. 247-249)
3.    Constituent and Stakeholder Travel - (pp. 258-259)

Of course, if you have any other specific comments concerning the 5YS&OP or FY21 Budget, please email those to the list.

  *   22 Jan – GNSO Council SPS for 3 days (to some extent prioritization and 5YS&OP items will be discussed)
  *   29 Jan – 2nd SCBO meeting
  *   05 Feb – 3rd SCBO meeting (not scheduled, unsure if necessary)
  *   10 Feb – GNSO Council documents & motion deadline (SCBO products have not required a motion in the past, but we attempt to adhere to this rule)
  *   18 Feb – Tentative date to meet with the SOPC to share draft positions
  *   20 Feb – GNSO Council meeting where we will review the draft of comment(s)
  *   25 Feb – Deadline to submit comments
