Hi Finance Team and All,
During our meeting a few weeks ago, Jimson asked a question in the chat, but
we ran out of time for it to be addressed. Root Zone Management is probably
one of the topic within ICANN that I know the least about. Can the Finance
team assist with additional information? The comment posted by Jimson:
"What is Singapore cluster with respect to the Operating Initiative to
continue the Root Zone Management evolution?"
The Operating Initiative is located on pages 38 - 40. On page 173 that
contains a table displaying the allocated budget amounts per OI. Item #6 for
"Continue Root Zone Management evolution" with a $3M - $6M allocation
contains text of "Hardware and connectivity costs based on Singapore
cluster."
I can only speculate that this is a refresh or a new instance of a root zone
system, but that is the extent of my speculation.
Any information you have, will be helpful.
Thank you.
