Hi All,

Not seeing any responses yet, the deadline date to complete the survey has
been extended to 03 April 2021. This should allow for plenty of time to work
with your respective groups and we won't be meeting with the SOPC until
sometime mid-late April. This should still allow enough time to compile the
ranking results and digest them in time for a joint session.

Thank you.

Subject: [Gnso-sc-budget] Ranking of OIs and FAs

Dear SCBO,

As was mentioned during the joint SCBO/SOPC meeting, we became aware of a
survey tool being used by the SOPC to rank the Operating Initiatives (OIs)
and Functional Activities (FAs). They have completed their exercise and now
it's our turn. In collaborating with staff, we felt it best to use the exact
same survey instrument so that we can perhaps compare and contrast the two
group's results at our next joint session (tentatively post-ICANN70).

Survey Link: https://forms.gle/zQj2kV82KqT5kvXN9

Deadline: 08 March 2021

Page 1: 15 Operating Initiatives

Page 2: 34 Functional Activities

Each item asks you to rank the it by High, Medium, and Low. As you will see,
this is a simplistic scale by which to rank the FAs and OIs. A "High"
designation means that the particular item is regarded as important or very
important to you or your group, while a "Low" designation is the opposite
end of the scale meaning as not very important or no importance.

The survey will only post your results to the backend Google sheet once you
hit the "Submit" button at the bottom of page 2. There is no ability to save
your work and return. I've attached PDFs of each page so that you can
collaborate with your respective groups. Do note, this is NOT a formal
survey. We won't be making any specific decisions based on these results. It
is only meant to obtain a general understanding on the level of importance
to help inform the SCBO's future deliberations regarding the budget and
operating plan. Should this attempt yield value, we can perhaps explore more
detailed survey instruments around the areas of the budget and operating
plan that have the most relevance to the GNSO.

The survey does not allow you to enter your name or email address as to
track who is making the submission. I'd ask that only members of the SCBO
make submissions on your or your group's behalf and I prefer you not
distribute the survey link. Please notify me when you hit the submit button
so that I can correlate who submitted what based on the time stamp. We can
discuss later if there is value to share the results by represented group.

Please let me know if you have questions and thank you for your attention.
