I think these are good questions and if there is support for the issue amongst this group, I would recommend that we reach out to the PTI Board to get answers to these questions before we make a final decision on a comment.

Thanks for bringing this up.
I suppose that since the PTI board has historically not been funded to ICANN meetings, my question would be if there are any duties for PTI board members that would directly and significantly benefit from their participation at ICANN meetings.
Secondly, a bit of understanding as to why they have historically not been funded to ICANN meetings would help.

I was reviewing the PTI budget and it appears that the PTI Board is not funded for travel to the ICANN meetings.  Putting aside the remote nature of our current work, not funding PTI Board members to ICANN meetings seems to be a big miss in my book and something that we may want to comment on.  The PTI performs and incredibly important function and their Board members should be funded to attend ICANN meetings.

Would there be support to consider adding this in a comment on the PTI budget?
