Thank you Emily,  I agree Norm is a great candidate and will switch my ranking to place Norm in first of my selections so we can hopefully reach full consensus.

Thank you all for completing the poll on candidates for the SSR2-RT vacancy. We had 100% participation, which is no small accomplishment for a mid-summer poll!

As you can see on the attached summary, Norm Ritchie has come out as the clear frontrunner in the poll.

As agreed on our call this week, we will now open a 24-hour objection period for the selection. If you would like to raise an objection to selecting Norm Ritchie, can you kindly respond on the list before 22:00 UTC tomorrow (Thursday 17 August).

After this deadline, if no objections are raised, Julf will submit Norm’s name to the GNSO Council in an amendment to the motion.
