Dear SSC members,

The deadline has now passed for SSR2-RT Co-Chairs to provide input on the SSR2-RT candidate selection process. We received input from Denise Michel and did not receive a response from Eric Osterweil. Denise asked that the SSC keep her input confidential. Therefore, it has been added to the password protected section of the wiki: https://community.icann.org/x/IhS8B. Please let me know if you are having trouble accessing this page.

The final poll for this selection process is now open: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VW65Y69. Please complete the poll by Friday 16 February at 13:00 UTC, one hour before our next meeting, which will take place on Friday 16 February at 14:00 UTC. You will receive a calendar invitation for this meeting shortly.

Susan has kindly submitted a placeholder motion for the upcoming Council meeting, which will take place on Thursday 22 February 2018. You can find the text of the motion here: https://community.icann.org/x/WgK8B. As a reminder, the SSC is aiming to submit the name of the recommended candidate in advance of this meeting.
