Given how the larger area of Internet governance is becoming, I
would stress the liaison between GNSO and GAC. There are other
policy tables where ICANN, ICANN org, and its stakeholders
increasingly are sitting around a non-ICANN policy discussion
table. Dealing with GAC re: ICANN's remit is important, but GAC
in ICANN is likely to become an important back channel for
surveillance or dialogue on larger Internet governance issues
that may impact the operational aspects of ICANN's remit.</font></p>

A couple of thoughts:
- there's a lot of emphasis on the PDP (which is indeed a pre-requisite) but only 1 question out of 6 mentions the GAC; I understand from last week's call that being a bit familiar with how governments work or somewhat involved already (eg national coord, network of contacts etc.) may also help.
- Also noted that #5 (my reading at least) seems like F2F rather than covid crisis/virtual mode.
Nothing critical, but thought I'd share.

Thanks for reviewing the poll and for your input on the format. I took a look to see if SurveyMonkey allows for this type of weighting, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem to support capturing that additional layer or nuance quantitatively. There is an open text box at the end of the survey, however, so if members wanted to do so, they could comment on their confidence in their responses, based on their own level or knowledge of the candidate and/or the level of detail that the application materials provide. This could be taken into account qualitatively as the Working Group discusses the candidates and reviews the poll responses. It is also possible to add additional text boxes if that would be helpful.

Something I always miss on polls like this is a "weighting" or "confidence factor" for
each question. There might be a question where I have a very strong view/opinion, and
others where I have very little knowledge about the ability of the person, and perhaps
the two should not count the same.
