ICANN is rich in its cultural diversity and global reach. Developing Cultural Intelligence at ICANN is a learning experience focused on improving cultural knowledge and awareness; what we are calling Cultural Intelligence. We will examine our behaviours and beliefs and how they impact our awareness and interaction when working with people from different cultures. We will explore the dual dimensions of culture like: individualist vs. collectivist; direct vs. indirect; formal vs. informal; and hierarchical vs. democratic. Leveraging our in room talent there will be much interaction, discussion and activity about similarities and differences around the world and around the room. Additionally, we will consider specific cultural challenges ICANN deals with and how to best overcome them. <b><u></u><u></u></b></span></i></p><p class="MsoNormal"><i><span lang="EN-GB"><u></u> <u></u></span></i></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><span lang="EN-GB">When:</span></i></b><i><span lang="EN-GB"> The experience will begin with a webinar before our face-to-face meeting on November 3<sup>rd</sup> in Abu Dhabi.
