    That it rewrites the sender address is due to the fact a. I use various new email standards to secure email (make it possible for you to throw away mail from other hosts than my allowed sender address), b. the email list manager is changing the email body and headers (adding a footer and a prefix of the subject).
    
    Because of these standards from the IETF; the mailing list manager can not resend email as from @frobbit.se as you as the receiver would throw it away as junk as email from ISOC can not be from the @frobbit.se domain.
    
    Because of this, the mailing list manager is rewriting so that the sender address is @icann.org but adds the sender name so that name + address give full information.
