Dear colleagues,

I wanted to share some IANA staffing news with you. I am delighted to report that Amy Creamer has joined the IANA team as the Director of IANA Operations. She succeeds Naela Sarras in this role and leads our team that delivers the IANA services, including our root zone management specialists.

Amy is expected to lead our representation to the CSC once we can establish arrangements for fulfilling her previous role with ICANN's Office of the CTO. As a reminder, OCTO supervises PTI's performance of the IANA contracts by ensuring contract deliverables are met internally. She has informally supported the CSC's work in this capacity, and has lead efforts to make contractual amendments associated with things like SLA evolution.

While new arrangements are made to fill Amy's previous role, Selina will continue to be PTI's liaison to the CSC in the short term in order to not confuse roles and responsibilities.
