Delegation to my mind is the more precise term, implying a technical implementation process. Creation could apply to cases where there is a new country e.g. South Sudan or North Macedonia and a new ccTLD code has to be created ...and subsequently delegated. 15:37:21 From James Gannon : CWG referred to both as a compromise 15:38:44 From James Gannon : CWG used the FOI language with the gTLD language in brackets 15:46:17 From amy.creamer : Ends 26 july 15:49:00 From James Gannon : Nothing from me 15:51:35 From James Gannon : ICANN Legal insists they are to in breach of the bylaws ref IFRT I have also argued with them over that.A quick update from myself, I met with the GNSO Council last week, and updated them that my term ends soon. Based on current discussions within council it appears that barring any changes in my availability, I will be reappointed for another term as the non registry liaison. So looking forward to a few more years of service =) 15:52:36 From James Gannon : *are not in breach 15:52:57 From Elaine Pruis : thanks for clarifying James 15:55:53 From James Gannon : I will be there for once 15:55:55 From Elaine Pruis : I will not 15:59:23 From brett : i wont be there but will as usual be attending remote 15:59:32 From brett : but will be in montreal 15:59:39 From Elaine Pruis : no plan to update the RYSG at Marrakech. We’ll send the report and wait for questions 16:00:14 From James Gannon : Same for Council 16:01:06 From brett : Thanks all speak soon :) 16:01:06 From James Gannon : Thanks all, see some of you in Marrakesh 16:01:16 From Cassimiren : Thanks, All.
