[IDN-WG] inter constituency meetings on IDN at the Seoul Meeting.

Hello CLO,

I have earlier proposed that ALAC proposes a full day of meetings, organized
as inter-constituency meetings, focused on IDN, to resolve pending issues
and conclusively expedite the process of IDN TLD implementation. Though not
submitted as an alac comment, the suggestion was sent as an introductory
statement to the alac comments on the 3rd revision of the Draft
Implementation Plan.

"With the view to expeditiously complete the IDN related tasks, it is
proposed that ICANN
incorporates in its agenda for the Seoul meeting a full day of meetings to
focus on IDNs,
scheduled as inter‐constituency meetings attended by invited experts, staff
and finance
committees to resolve all pending issues related to IDN Policy and pave the
way for
implementation."

As the schedule for the Seoul Meeting is drawn up, may I request that this
proposal be passed on to other constituencies and also to the team that is
working on the schedules? The IDN meetings could be organized as
inter-constituency meetings on Wednesday, 28th October. In one unified
session all constituencies could together review developments so far, and
arrive at solutions for all pending issues - technical, cultural, political,
financial and administrative- related to IDN implementation. (Other pressing
business of different constituencies could be discussed in concurrent
sessions)
