For the International Day of Indigenous Peoples, from the Consortium of
the Latin American Festival of Indigenous Languages on the Internet we are
organizing two activities to promote dialogue on the use and preservation
of the indigenous languages of the region through the Internet. Both
activities will be in Spanish.

*1. Webinar “The present and future of Indigenous Languages on the
Internet”*
We will have the participation of Albertina Navas (Ecuador), Enma Coyote
(Guatemala) and Tajëëw Robles (Mexico), with the moderation of: Yamanik
Cholotío (Guatemala).

The webinar will be held on Thursday, *August 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00

Promote the Festival within the framework of the International Day of
Indigenous Peoples and generate a space for dialogue on the opportunity of
technology to preserve the indigenous languages of the region.
