addition to the 20 October (which is already in your calendar).  Moving to a
weekly meeting before ICANN 57 was discussed, to make some more progress

Dear All,

 

1.       Please find attached the summary of our meeting on 06 October 2016.
Please let me know in case of any changes.  

 

2.       Kindly note that we would like to switch to a weekly call schedule
for October 2016, if it is convenient for the members, to close some of the
discussions and plan for ICANN57.  We will be scheduling for the same day
and time as the current meetings.  I will send in invitation for the extra
meetings shortly.  Please let us know if you have any feedback regarding the
scheduling.

 

3.       In the previous call we discussed developing a clean version of the
guidelines, based on the current status, and a presentation for ICANN 57.
Both are attached for your review.  I have put in complete text of the
recommendations in the presentation slides, as the actual text is useful to
discuss.  However, if we feel that a summarized version of the
recommendations should be presented, I am happy to create an abridged
version.  Please share your feedback.

>From previous meeting: Finalize the Revised new recommendation re: LGR in
Section 2.4 per the discussion on need for registries explaining deviation
but not requiring them to do so.

>From previous meeting: For the new recommendation on registry collaboration
at the end of Section 2.4., update to include script based tables, e.g. by
introducing reference to RFC 5646 for language/script tags.

Check for scheduling weekly calls, and generate a clean copy of the document
with latest version of the recommendations.

Next meeting will be on 13 October, 11am UTC, unless we re-schedule due to
