[Idngwg] ICANN 58 Presentations on IDN Implementation Guidelines

Dear All,

I’m fine with both versions of the presentation. The only observation I have is with this statement under Purpose (of the WG).


     *   Designed to address end-user concerns, e.g. user confusion

I suggest we use the language in the Call for Community Experts which states “… designed to minimize the risk of cybersquatting and consumer confusion…”

Please find attached the long and the short presentations for the two sessions at ICANN 58, for your review.



For the long presentation, I have included the exact wording of the recommendations.  Where there are explanations, these have been pushed to the next page of the recommendation (starting with "continued" so that these can be easily skipped, if needed).



I will update the guidelines in these presentations, once these are finalized after our meeting next week.  Currently the reflect what is in the document circulated yesterday.
