[Internal-cg] Fwd: Possible ICG-GAC meeting in Los Angeles

I've just arrived Istanbul and started to scan emails. So my earlier comment
to this thread was done not knowing the following comments.

I am in support of meeting with affected communities as many as possible in
order to get and keep the process running. I'm just wondering how to manage
this. At an ICANN meeting usually the availability of resources (people,
time, rooms) is stressed to the maximum in particular if you expect to
schedule additional meetings with complete groups (e.g. GAC or GNSO + ICG).

Maybe we should give Teresa tomorrow the opportunity explaining what's
possible in LA.

Best regards

Wolf-Ulrich

Hello all,

I believe a meeting with the GAC would be very beneficial and that
information from members of the ICG about how and when governments can
participate in each of the community processes related to developing a
proposal would be especially welcome.

Thanks,
Heather

Of these meetings, I think you MUST do GNSO and ccNSO and the others are of
secondary importance.
Although ALAC wil participate and GAC may participate in proposal
development processes, the core of the Cross Community working group is in
GNSO and ccNSO. So if you want to guide and encourage and push them into
action, that is the place to be.
