<p class="MsoNormal">Some weeks have passed since my email (forwarded below) asking for any further thoughts regarding the challenge to ICANN Org’s continued participation in the IOT as a full member rather than on a staff-support-only basis.

<p class="MsoNormal">Thank you for <a href="https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/iot/2019-March/000499.html">
weighing in</a>, Robin. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">And so on this issue and on finishing the supplementary rules we have work to do and
<b>thus I propose that we meet on Thursday, May 9<sup>th</sup>, at our usual 19:00 UTC time</b> to pick up following this hiatus for further opinions on the challenge issue.

<p class="MsoNormal">I see the next meeting as re-organizational in a manner – to come together to decide how best to forward the challenge to decision-makers (the emails cited below and Robin’s email pertain) and to approach/organize for further work, most
importantly to finish the supplementary rules.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It would be nice, Sam, to get an update/insight from ICANN Org on these matters and especially, if possible, to get an update on how and when efforts will be undertaken to add additional members to the IOT.<o:p></o:p></p>
