<p class="MsoNormal">There was a question raised on how the repose issue impacts ICANN’s Empowered Community in its filing of a Community IRP. The Bylaws already include a specific timeframe for the EC to initiate a Community IRP over the areas in which they
have the right to file an Community IRP (which is limited to where the Board disregards/acts contrary to acts of the EC). That deadline was set during the drafting of the Bylaws, taking into account the timeframes and workflow for EC actions. That Bylaws
deadline is 80 days from the conclusion of the Community Mediation, which is a mandatory step to get to the Community IRP. Given that there is already a timeframe built into the Bylaws, the IOT does not have to consider the impact of any recommendation on
repose on the EC timeframe for filing a Community IRP.<o:p></o:p></p>
