Dear all,
Today we had a meeting with ICANN’s General Counsel, John Jeffrey, and he informed as that a "Director shall hold office for a term that
lasts until the next term for that Seat commences and until a successor has been designated and qualified or until that Director resigns or is removed in
accordance with these Bylaws”, Bylaws Article 7, Section 7.8 (b), means that in a Director is not elected to take his places, or the actual Director is re-elected, his seat will remain vacant.
So, if we don’t re-elect Markus Kummer or elect a new Board Member seat 14 will remain vacant.
