Dear Chris,
thank you for preparing the set of slides:
- slide 5, after my name, please delete "ICANN" and add "NCUC; Individual Users; NMI/CC; ICG".
In your initial email you give 21 September for our meeting in Dublin, but that was corrected in the first slide, which reads 21 October.
Best regards,
Jean-Jacques (Subrenat).

Dear Meikal,
As you write, it would be difficult to do much with the map, but a new slide could cover uses of Latin in the white areas of the map – Romanization, Arabic chat language – and there is enough room for a little more related content on that slide, perhaps something about lack of experience with decorated letters at the top level.
“Example” does indeed make the presentation more fluent.
Regards,
Chris.

Dear Chris,
I think the map on page 3 is complicated taking into consideration uses such as the one mentioned by Hezzam and yourself.
Since Africa is not the main topic of the talk I would tag it as "Example" in the title of the slide.
Best wishes,
Meikal

Dear colleagues,
Please find attached the first draft of a presentation intended for the IDN Program session (10:30 on Monday 21 Sept.) at ICANN Dublin.
I had originally hoped to be able to give more than one regional example, but there is a maximum slide limit of seven slides. Meikal Mumin has contributed a slide on Latin script use in Africa for this purpose. If we want to do more than one example, one of the other slides will need to go …
Anyway, as usual, I welcome your corrections, edits and additions, by UTC 21:00 on Thursday 1 October.
Incidentally, please send any final edits for the Armenian public comment by UTC 21:00 tomorrow, Tues. 29 September.
Regards,
Chris.
