Dear GP members ,
Here are some information on how I produced the table in question.
I. The table 00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1msQXRnl3Fl4voIcoerBO1eSBsdtbbgn0LSjsUIumXeA/edit?usp=sharing>
Main source for languages using Latin script was
http://www.omniglot.com/writing/langalph.htm
In the middle of this page there is a non-exhaustive list of languages using Latin script, which I took and used it to form the main row (Language) in the table 00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1msQXRnl3Fl4voIcoerBO1eSBsdtbbgn0LSjsUIumXeA/edit?usp=sharing>
All the other columns are filled using copy/paste function and getting information about every language using:
* Link from the http://www.omniglot.com/writing/langalph.htm that is providing the information on alphabet used by the language
* Some data on languages could be found in Wikipedia<https://www.wikipedia.org/>
* The data for the columns in the table 00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1msQXRnl3Fl4voIcoerBO1eSBsdtbbgn0LSjsUIumXeA/edit?usp=sharing>
ISO 639-3
Classification
Population
EGIDS
Language map
are collected form the site https://www.ethnologue.com/browse/names
browsing the entry for every individual language, and copying relevant information in the table 00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1msQXRnl3Fl4voIcoerBO1eSBsdtbbgn0LSjsUIumXeA/edit?usp=sharing>.
I must admit, I had no time to double check all the information, so there might be some mistakes in the table 00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1msQXRnl3Fl4voIcoerBO1eSBsdtbbgn0LSjsUIumXeA/edit?usp=sharing>. This task took me three months to fulfill.
Regards Mirjana
