At the outset, I would like to thank all the members who responded to the poll. We have finalized the date of the meeting as 16th July 2015, in “Courtyard Marriott” Pune.

Dear Neo-Brahmi GP Members,

We have finally resolved all the administrative necessities for having our first Face to Face meeting.  

After due discussions with ICANN and the chair, we have narrowed down the possible dates for the meeting to 15 or 16 July. This time we are planning to hold the meeting in Pune which we feel is the most convenient location for most of the members. 

Please give us your preferred date in the below Doodle Poll. We will finalize the date which will be suitable to most of the members.  As you did last time, your early response would help us to arrange the meeting logistics in a better way.

This is a gentle reminder for the below mail.

Thanks to the members who have already given their preference in the doodle poll. So far, out of the proposed dates, 1st , 4th & 5th June seem to be the most appropriate one.

Requesting remaining members to kindly complete the poll by tomorrow(Tuesday) in order to finalise the date and thereby the budget. Those who cannot travel to the meeting but would like to attend remotely, kindly let us know. We would try to explore that facility as well.

At the outset, let me inform you that the Neo-Brahmi Panel is in a stage of formation and a revised draft will shortly be sent to ICANN through Dr. Udaya Narayan Singh. 

In the interim, we have requested ICANN to fund  a face to face meeting, to which proposal they have very kindly agreed. 

We are planning to hold first face to face meeting in Delhi tentatively at the end of May. 

A face to face meeting will help us know one another and more importantly allow us to answer all your queries as to the working of the group, develop a road-plan for the group and also establish means of communication to remain in touch. 

I am writing this mail to you to ascertain whether this schedule is acceptable to you in order to finalise the budgetary figures. Please let us know at the earliest about your willingness to attend the meeting.
