Hello Friends, Here are my comments / suggestions - open for discussion. 1. Decision about Emoji`s .
Chief Emoji Officer Jeremy Burge has announced http://blog.emojipedia.org/final-2017-emoji-list/ that the Unicode Consortium has approved 69 emoji as part of the Emoji 5.0 update for 2017. The Unicode Consortium is a non-profit that develops software internationalization standards and data. Emoji 5.0 includes new smileys, foods, drinks, flags and people. And the Emoji 5.0 update will include new fantasy characters for the first time like mermaids (and mermen), zombies, elves, genies and vampires. We have to also look at IDNA for the purpose of support for Emojis.2. UTF8 Icons: What`s our view for https://www.utf8icons.com/

3. Variants - Variants are already part of Policy documents available for .भारत IDNs . In this LGR document, will we bring that table from this document or a new variant table is getting created. 4. Restrictions Rules: Like you can`t put NUKTA (wiki link for नुक़्ता ) before ज , 5. Consideration and rules for homoglyph. 6. Consideration and rules for homograph.7. Specific mention about ZWJ, ZWNJAll the points are open for discussion and comments. Please send your WhatsApp message to me on +91982806666 so you can be added as part of the NBGP group. Thanks.

Dear All,
We are glad to inform you all that we have a draft version of the Devanagari LGR document ready.
This document covers following languages: Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, Nepali, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Santhali, Sanskrit, Sindhi and Kashmiri as written in Devanagari script .
We have attached, both PDF and Doc version of the same. Alongwith, we have also attached, the draft XML version of the Devanagari LGR named, "Proposed-LGR-Deva-20170323.xml". The XML version may seem a bit complex to a non-technical user and may be ignored by them. If you still want to read through it, please read it conjunction with the RFC 7940 [1]
May I please request all of you to go through the descriptive document and provide your valuable inputs .
If there are some queries, please feel free to raise/discuss them .
With this document as a base, we also request you all to initiate the thought process of how the similar documents can be prepared for all other scripts. If you are willing to take a lead in creating such a document for the script of your expertise, you are more than welcome. We extend our full support to any queries you may have during the process of creating the same.
We will drop a more detailed mail about how we can move ahead with all the Neo-brahmi Scripts documents, soon.
