[Neobrahmigp] NBGP - Sinhala variant comparison

Dear All,

Subsequent to the previous mail, I would like to request the Sinhala
Generation Panel to consider the discrepancy between the Kannada and
Telugu cross-script variants.

There are pairs of cross-script variants mentioned in both Kannada and
Telugu LGRs with respect to the Sinhala script as mandatory variants
which are either listed as confusables or not listed at all in the
Sinhala LGR. Given the fact that there would be a common LGR in the end,
this discrepancy is of 'breaking' nature and needs to be harmonized
between the Kannada-Sinhala and the Telugu-Sinhala LGR drafting teams
before either of the proposals gets accepted as a final one. This can be
achieved by common discussions between the respective teams.

Regards,

Akshat Joshi
